I'm an Animation Professor at LUCA School of Arts, campus C-mine in Genk, Belgium. I teach at the Re:Anima Joint Master in Animation and I'm a senior researcher at the Inter-Actions Research Unit. My research interests include philosophy of Technics, power relations inscribed in and reinforced by technical objects, and decolonial perspectives in animation. Previously, I was an Animation Professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Brazil. MFA and PhD by the Graduate Program in Arts at EBA/UFMG. If only judging it by the title sequence. :)

The Amazing Adventures of Kid Cole & Klay from Stephane coedel on Vimeo.

This opening was directed by Stephane Coedel for a non-produced Cartoon Network pilot called The Amazing Adventures of Kid Cole and Klay. I found it very cool the way they produced it: only with Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects they achieved a very nice looking 50s style.

Sad it wasn't produced. At least they seemed to have had a pretty good time doing it. :)
